I've tried uninstalling my network drivers and letting Windows install them again on re-boot, plus resetting my network adapter and even run a few command-line scripts relating to this that I found online. Now I can see several other available (private) networks but not the one from my landlord, which is the vital one.
I've probably caused this: there was an ISP outage in the morning, and I stupidly started adjusting the services and TSRs that were running out of boredom, trying to clean things up a bit (using my phone as a hotspot). It's always worked perfectly until one day his network disappeared - from only this laptop. The internet supply to my house is a split from my landlord's fiber-optic line, ending in a router in my house (as my laptop has a non-standard Ethernet socket). This is bizarre - but might be due to my tinkering.
